Huawei is all set to launch its latest smartphone, the Huawei WAS-AL00 in China. Information about the actual device was found on Chinese telecom regulatory authority TENAA. The device is actually inspired by retro iPhone 4s, with it’s all square design with glass back panel. In terms of specifications, the device is kind of mid-tier device with decent specifications.
In terms of design, though it looks like a copy of iPhone 4s, it looks refreshing even in 2017, which is great. The finger print sensor is located on the rear side of the device, which is ideal for the smartphone at par with smartphones with a front side finger print scanner.
The Huawei WAS-AL00 sports a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS LCD screen, powered by unknown Octa Core processor, with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB internal storage with a dedicated SD card slot for additional storage seekers.
Moving towards the camera, the device houses a single 12 MP rear facing camera with max video resolution support of 1080p at 30 fps. There is a 8 MP front facing camera with larger aperture for low light selfies and it also supports 1080p video recording capability. The device measure 146.5 x 72 x 7.2 mm and weighs 146 grams, which is quite lighter compared to other smartphones with screen size more than 5 inches.
The device supports 4G Lte with VoLte, in both SIM card slots. and runs on Android Nougat, with custom skin on the top. The whole device is powered by 2900 mAh Li-Ion non removable battery, with fast charging capabilities via micro USB, the device also supports USB on the go.
The Huawei WAS-AL00 is a sort of mid-tier device, which packs everything that one can expect from the smartphone and also looks future proof, in terms of design. One should wait for the official launch date of the device to know more about this device.
