Huawei Honor 8 Lite is the latest iteration of Huawei mini flagship in India. The, device was launched in China few months back for a price tag of $300. Now the device is most likely to retail for INR 17,999 or $280.
Looking at its design, there is nothing fancy here; the device comes with all glass material finish, with a metallic mid frame. On the other hand, the finger print sensor is located at the rear end of the smartphone making it more comfortable and easy to access. The tech specifications are not expected to show any poor effect on performance. Having said that, it is not up to flagship mark at all.

Lets look at Huawei Honor 8 Lite hardware specifications to understand more about this device. The Huawei Honor 8 Lite is powered by Kirin 655 Oct-core processor (A53 processor and Mali-T830MP2 GPU), which is equivalent to that of Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, coupled with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB internal storage, with an option for an extra SD card slot. To add a twist, the device packs a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS LCD screen, which is somewhat different compared to other devices with a 5.5 inch screen.
Moving towards its camera; the Huawei Honor 8 Lite just comes with normal sensors like most of the smartphones. The device packs a 12 MP rear facing camera with 1080p video recording capability, with F/2.0 aperture. On the other hand, the device packs a 8 MP fixed focus camera with 720p video recording capability. The device runs on a 3000 mAh Li-Ion non removable battery, with fast charging capabilities via micro USB and also supports USB OTG.
The Huawei Honor 8 Lite will be available in different shades like Blue, Gold, Black and white. The sale starts from May 12th. The device will start retailing at both online and offline retailers simultaneously.
