Moto X specs for the 4th gen has been leaked. The flagship smartphone, Moto X 4th gen from Moto is finally here. Though, their other flagship lineup Moto Z will also be continued, mainly focused on modular add-ons and accessories, but this device will be stand alone smartphone.
The online leaked document doesn’t speak much about tech specifications and only focuses on the built quality and design aesthetics. According to the slide, the device features Galaxy S8 like materials, basically built on glass and metal. However, the device has different set of camera module that resembles the latest Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

There are few listings of the specifications available online, that states the Moto X 4th gen will feature a 5.5 inch probably a 2K OLED panel. Underneath, the device will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB on-board storage. If you are looking for an expandable storage option, the device is not likely to offer anything of that sort.
Moving on, as Moto didn’t have any smartphone in their portfolio with dual camera setup, this will probably the first device to fulfil that gap. According to analysts, the device will offer dual 12 MP cameras with iPhone 7 Plus like mechanisms. Even with the selfie camera, we can expect something different from the crowd, probably a same camera with 4K video recording capability.
The Moto X 4th gen is likely to be equipped with a massive 3800 mAh Li-Ion (non user replaceable) with their own fast charging technology (Dash Charging). Other features like finger print sensor and USB type C will also makes their presence.
In terms of operating system, like all Moto devices, even this device will be powered by latest android OS, probably the first device to offer upcoming Android Oreo as well.
