Samsung mobile Z4 officially announced

Samsung mobile Z4 has been recently announced by Samsung as their latest¬†entry-level smartphone. The speciality about this device is, starting from the SoC, hardware, display and operating system is built by Samsung from scratch. However, this device is not meant for the high-end users, moreover, it’s a smartphone for those who need basic stuff like, web browsing, social media and multi media consumption.

The device runs on Tizen 3.0, built on top of the android. Though the device does not support Google services or Playstore, the device offers its own app store, that comes with selected number of apps. From design perspective, the device looks and feels like a premium one. Lets move towards tech specifications for further insights.

The Samsung mobile Z4 is powered by a Exynos 1.5 GhZ (Quad-core) SoC, paired with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. On the front side, the device features 480 x 800 resolution screen with a 4.5 inch screen size. The display is protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass, which enhances the phones status.

As the device is not pure android, these set of hardware is more than enough to run jitter free. Looking upon the optics, Samsung mobile Z4 offers a 5 MP rear facing camera paired with dual LED flash, located one either side. Even the 5 MP front facing camera has its own tiny selfie flash. From the camera enthusiasts perspective, this will be a great device for a casual photography to fulfill social media needs.

If you are concerned about connectivity, the device comes in either single or dual SIM option (depending on the market). The VoLte 4G and VoWiFi comes as a standard feature.

There are no clues about pricing or availability, however, India will be the first country to receive this device with dual SIM capability. In terms of pricing, the Samsung mobile Z4 will be priced around ~$100 just like their previous Tizen powered smartphone.
