Sharp a well-known display manufacturer launched their flagships smartphone for 2017. The Sharp Z3 offers top-notch specifications with interesting product design.
Just like most of the premium flagship device, Sharp Z3 offers all metal unibody design. The device offers variety of shades inclusive of Gold, Silver and Dark grey. Though the device reminds us of the iPhone 7, there are many criteria to distinguish between the two. Even, the state of the art features from the Sharp are back. However, the only sad part is, this device is only available in Taiwan. Lets further analyse this device using its specifications sheet.
The Sharp Z3 offers un-usual 5.7 inch QHD screen (IPL LCD), protected by latest generation of Corning Gorilla Glass carved in the shape of 2.5D curve. As the OEM is known for their quality display (most of the OEM sources from them) this device offers highest brightness upto 520 nits. Under the hood, the device packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 oct-core SoC, coupled with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The device offers an ample amount of on-board storage (64 GB), if you want more storage, just throw in a SD carp up to 128 GB.
Moving on to the eyes of the device, there is a 16 MP rear facing camera, along with 13 MP front facing selfie camera. The main module does supports optical image stabilisation as well as 4K or UHD video recording upto 30fps and slow motion 720p videos.
The device also offers 3100 mAh Li-Ion (non user replaceable) battery, which also caters to fast charging capability. On a sad note, the device still uses micro USB to do so. The device does support USB OTG as well as 4G LTE (single SIM) with latest WiFi/ac.
In terms of operating system, the device is powered by Android Nougat with custom UI on the top. The device is excepted to launch in China by the end of the April 2017.
